NORTH SUBURBAN CHIROPRACTIC COMPANY
Our mission is to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based chiropractic care. We believe in the importance of getting to the root cause of a condition. We understand that everyone is different, and that treatment will be specific to the individual patient. We will team-up with each patient to accomplish their healthcare goals.
Dr. Charlie Gandolfi is born and raised in Mundelein, having attended both Caramel Catholic High School and Mundelein High School. Post-graduation, he went on to attend Webster University in St. Louis, from which he earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on health and medicine. Dr. Gandolfi remained in St. Louis to attend chiropractic school at Logan University, where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic, along with a Master’s of Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Now back in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Gandolfi is committed to taking care of the community that he was brought up in. Having been an athlete, from little league through college, he understands conditions that arise, and the urge to get back on the field. Despite putting the long hours on the baseball field behind him, he is passionate about staying active in any way that he can. Dr. Gandolfi’s goal is to ensure that every one of his patients, of all ages and backgrounds, is able to live a healthy and pain-free life.

Dr. Gandolfi has received extensive training in both manual spinal manipulation and instrument-assisted manipulation (activator). Combining clinical indication and the preferences of each patient, there is treatment for everyone. Manipulation of joints aids in removing restrictions to allow the body freedom of movement.
ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE
ART is a hands-on movement-based technique used to treat soft tissue injuries. Soft tissue includes muscles, fascia, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. Benefits of ART include improved range of motion and muscle function, as well as a decrease in pain. ART reinforces the effects of an adjustment, helping the patient get better, faster.
FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCREENS
These screens are designed to make sure your body is moving the way that it is supposed to. If your body isn't moving correctly, the joint or tissue that is causing the restriction will quickly be identified. Whether you are a golfer that isn't rotating enough, a pitcher whose arm feels tight in your delivery, or if you simply feel pain bending over to pick something up, the cause of the problem will be identified.
